Arriving at the studio at 9:30 and starting work feels almost like having half a day off. And as a freelancer, it feels even more like a holiday.

On the other hand, if you start work very early, at 5:00 or 6:00 AM, you can already feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment between 1:00 and 2:00 PM, knowing that you've essentially completed your 8-hour workday. And not just because 8 hours have passed, but because the first 4 hours were extremely productive, as there were hardly any phone calls or new emails during that time.

Furthermore, a study supposedly shows that our brains are most creative when we are tired. I don't know the authors of this study, nor have I seen the study itself, but it's a useful argument if you're looking for another reason to get up early.

😁☕️✍️ Happy rainy thursday!
