About me

I was born and raised in Vienna, where my passion for drawing began at an early age. While my friends were out playing football, I preferred to sit with comics — reading them and carefully copying the characters I admired. From the very beginning, drawing was the only subject that truly fascinated me, and eventually, I decided to leave high school to pursue art more seriously. I enrolled at the Vienna Art School, but after a few years I left without completing a degree and chose instead to train as a lithographer. This profession allowed me to work very closely with drawing, and I enjoyed it immensely.

After finishing my apprenticeship, I supported myself with different part-time jobs in order to dedicate as much time as possible to sketching, visiting museums, and having long conversations with fellow artists in Vienna’s cafés. By chance, I then found work as a graphic designer, which became a nine-year career in a Viennese advertising agency. Later, I founded my own graphic studio with a small team, where my creative work expanded beyond illustration to include photography and video production.

Until shortly before the pandemic in 2020, my artistic focus was mainly on people—depicted in society, in solitude, suppressed, or lost. These were often heavy, contemplative themes. During the pandemic, however, my perspective shifted, and I turned to architectural drawing. What has remained constant from the very beginning is my love for pen and ink, which I later combined with watercolor, especially in my cityscapes. Around this time, I also began sharing my work on social media. The feedback I received was deeply motivating: some followers told me they had been inspired to draw again, while others found peace simply in watching me create.

By 2022, I was working on my art every single day, seven days a week, with growing energy and enthusiasm. This daily practice has given me discipline, consistency, and a deeper connection to my creative process. In late August 2025, I took another step forward by launching online courses on Patreon under the title “Drawing with Ink and Watercolor.” Through these courses, I now share my experience, techniques, and passion with people around the world.

Art has been the center of my life from childhood until today, and I continue to find joy in every line, every detail, and every story that drawing allows me to tell.
